CQC findings
Dear West London NHS Trust,
In regards to Ealing Recovery West Team, the CQC 2018 report mentioned the following
1] The trust must ensure that Ealing West Recovery Team has a robust system in place to safely monitor patients on the waiting list, and ensure staff screen and prioritise referrals in a timely manner.
2] The trust must ensure out-of-date medicines at Ealing West Recovery Team are removed from storage, or kept in separate storage if used only for training, to prevent the risk of inadvertent use.
3] The trust must ensure staff in recovery teams assess patients in a timely manner, in line with the 28-day trust target. They should ensure a smooth transfer of patients from the early intervention teams.
Please explain how and when did the Trust address the above? In your response, please submit relevant documents such as Trust Board minutes etc acknowledge the plan developed by the Trust to address the above CQC concerns.
Yours faithfully,
Dr Amit Mukherjee
