Dear Andrew Bennett
Thank you for your request in respect of the above.

The council is determining whether or not the information you have
requested is something that can be released to you. As such, the council
needs to conduct a Public Interest Test as we require more time to
determine whether or not the balance of the public interest lies in
maintaining an exemption. This allows the council an extension up to a
further 20 working days per the [1]Freedom of Information Act 2000:

10 Time for compliance with request

(3)If, and to the extent that—

(a)section 1(1)(a) would not apply if the condition in section 2(1)(b)
were satisfied, or

(b)section 1(1)(b) would not apply if the condition in section 2(2)(b)
were satisfied,

the public authority need not comply with section 1(1)(a) or (b) until
such time as is reasonable in the circumstances; but this subsection does
not affect the time by which any notice under section 17(1) must be given.

Therefore, the council is extending the time limit for responding to your
request for a further 20 working days and the new deadline for the council
to respond to you is 15/03/2021.

If you require further information about Public Interest Tests, please
find the guidance from the ICO which can be found [2]here.

Regards

Medway Council
