FOI (NHS ENGLAND & NHS IMPROVEMENT - T1520), NHS Improvement

Dear Mr D. L. Taylor,

We write further to your email below where you requested information from
NHS Improvement under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

Section 10(3) of the FOI Act 2000 enables an authority to extend the 20
working day limit up to a reasonable time in any case where;

o it requires more time to determine whether or not the balance of the
public interest lies in maintaining an exemption; or
o it needs further time to consider whether it would be in the public
interest to confirm or deny whether the information is held.

We write to advise you that we require more time to consider the public
interest test.

NHS Improvement will endeavour to provide a response to you by 24 August
2020.

Yours sincerely,

NHS Improvement

Dear NHS Improvement,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of NHS Improvement's handling of my FOI request 'COVID-19 Antibody Testing Programme'.

A response to this request is now long overdue, even allowing for the extension you requested to conduct a public interest test. Please could you provide the request information or clarify why you have chosen not to do so and the legal basis for this. As the request was made on a public forum, members of the public may draw their own conclusions as to why the information has not been provided.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/c...

Yours faithfully,

Dominic Taylor
