Covid19/sars-cov-2

Public Health England did not have the information requested.

Dear Public Health England,
I am contacting you to formally request documentation to prove that covid19/sars-cov-2 has passed Koch's postulates, specifically;
1 the suspected causative agent must be absent from all healthy organisms but present in all diseased organisms.
2 the causative agent must be isolated from the diseased organism and grown in pure culture
3 the cultured agent must cause the same disease when inoculated into a healthy susceptible organism.
4 the same causative agent must then be re-isolated from the inoculated diseased organism.

Yours faithfully,

Steve Bryant

OFFICIAL
Dear Steve Bryant,

We acknowledge receipt of your email and request for information, which will be treated as a request for information under statutory access legislation.

Please note that requests under the Freedom of Information Act and the Environmental Information Regulations (EIRs) will receive a response within 20 working days from the day following the date of receipt of your request.

If the request is for your personal data, your request has been handled as a data subject access request (SAR) under Article 15 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), then we will respond within one month of the receipt of the request.

Public Health England (PHE) is responsible for providing guidance and advice to government and front-line services for all aspects of public health. It is a designated Category 1 responder organisation under the Civil Contingency Act and this specifically includes the COVID-19 response, providing clinical expertise and wider public health advice and guidance across national and local government, the NHS and third sector. As such, you may experience delays when making statutory information access requests during the pandemic.

We will aim to address all requests promptly and within the required response timeframes. However when we are unable to meet the response timeframe we will keep requesters updated on a revised expected timescale for a response to their request. The Information Commissioner recognises this position in its recent guidance, see link: https://ico.org.uk/for-organisations/dat...

Dear FOI,

If you do not have evidence of covid19/sars cov-2 passing Koch's postulates what evidence has been used to prove the virus has been isolated?

Yours sincerely,

Steve Bryant

Dear Steve Bryant

Thank you for your email. The subsequent question is not caught by the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and is not considered a valid FOI request. However, I have included a link below on virus isolation which you may find useful:
https://www.eurosurveillance.org/content...

If you wish to submit a further request for information, it may be helpful to clarify how you are using the term “isolated” regarding SARS-CoV-2.

Dear FOI,
By isolated I mean specifically;
The causative agent must be isolated from the diseased organism and grown in pure culture
The cultured agent must cause the same disease when inoculated into a healthy susceptible organism.
The same causative agent must then be re-isolated from the inoculated diseased organism.

Yours sincerely,

Steve Bryant

Dear FOI,
As you have no proof that covid19/sars-cov2 has been isolated I am requesting documentation to inform me what every covid19 test is actually testing for as it is my understanding that if you cannot isolate something you cannot test for it and if you cannot test for something then you cannot treat it. So I would like documentation of exactly what the "covid19" tests are actually testing for.

Yours sincerely,

Steve Bryant
