I am writing to ask you to clarify your request.  This is because we need
further details from you in order to identify and locate the information. 
Therefore I should be grateful if you would clarify the following;

For questions 1:  

What time period does this relate to?

Please define what you mean by 'councillors participated in and

Please define what you mean by 'court proceedings'?

For question 2:

Please clarify what 'against BAME Muslim women' means in this context?

information about court proceedings.

We apologise for the lateness of the response to your request, caused by
staffing changes within the organisation.

1. How many court proceedings have councillors participated in?

2. How many have been against BAME Muslim women?

Proceedings since 2015.

BAME - Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic.

Legal Services response is that we do not hold this information.

The council does not record the ethnicity for any of its legal cases
whether they are in court proceedings or not. The council does not record
if councillors have participated in any particular case.
