Dear Rachael

I have combined three requests from the same person into this one.

Dear John

With reference to your request for information under the Freedom of Information Act, please find attached and below the School's response.

We have combined the three separate requests into one, with the following information request.

1. The number is people who transferred to Bsc economics and Philosophy for the last 5 years. Can I also know what course they transferred from and what year they transferred into?
2. The number is people who transferred to Bsc economics for the last 5 years. Can I also know what course they transferred from and what year they transferred into?
3. Please may I have the following data for the past 5 years for the BSc Economics and Philosophy program
a. Number of applicants
b. Number offers
c. number of people accepted
d. number of people accepted despite missing their offer
e. number of offers made to applicants without either politics or philosophy a level

For points 1) and 2) the information has been split out into the total numbers of transfers into each programme by entry year (on the first sheet), and a more detailed breakdown which includes programme transferred from and year transferred into (on the second sheet).

Point 3) is all covered by the final sheet- for parts c. and d. we have taken this to mean the number of offers that were converted to unconditional offers.

If you think that the information provided does not meet your request, contact me on 020 7955 7554 or write to Louise Nadal, School Secretary, London School of Economics and Political Science, Houghton Street, London, WC2A 2AE. We will then review the response to your request and get back to you within 20 working days. You can also contact the Information Commissioner's Office http://www.ico.gov.uk , though they expect the internal review to be carried out before receiving a complaint directly.
