Course transfer

Waiting for an internal review by London School of Economics of their handling of this request.

Dear London School of Economics,

I would like to have the information for the number of people who transferred to bsc accounting and finance in their second year of study in the past five years, including the course that they transfer from and the overall score that they attained in their first year of undergraduate study. Would like to request the same set of information who transferred to another course from bsc management and accounting and finance as well for the past 5 years, including the course that they transfer to. Thanks!

Yours faithfully,

Anson Cheung

Dear Anson,

With reference to your request for information under the Freedom of Information Act, please find attached the School's response.

Please note that to determine year 1 scores would breach the cost limit se under Section 12 of the Freedom of Information Act. It would also breach the data protection principles to provide the actual marks for students so we are exempting this information from release under Section 40(2) of the Freedom of Information Act. As such we have provided the total number of students who took FM320 each year for the last 5 years and the scores that students achieved by year too.

If you think that the information provided does not meet your request, contact me on 020 7849 4622 or write to Louise Nadal, School Secretary, London School of Economics and Political Science, Houghton Street, London, WC2A 2AE. We will then review the response to your request and get back to you within 20 working days. You can also contact the Information Commissioner's Office http://www.ico.gov.uk/, though they expect the internal review to be carried out before receiving a complaint directly.

Dear lse,

Thank you so much for your reply. However, in the fm320 data, you did not include the undergraduate course that the student is taking. Can you please kindly provide that? Thanks!

Yours sincerely,

Anson Cheung

Dear London School of Economics,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of London School of Economics's handling of my FOI request 'Course transfer'.

In the data, (which you have responded in my another request: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/c...) LSE did not include the undergraduate course that the student is taking, which is the information that I am asking for. I therefore now request an internal review.

In addition, in response to LSE's reply:
-----
"Yes, and we will be responding today. It is only 8.32 as I am typing. We have all of today to respond to you. As such, we will not be conducting an internal review.",
-----
The deadline was actually the day before this reply was typed. Therefore, in fact LSE did not have "all of today" to respond to my request. I would therefore like to kindly request LSE to be cautious about the deadline before typing any reply next time. Thank you for your attention.

Yours sincerely,

Anson Cheung

Dear London School of Economics,

Additional information: The reply of "Yes, and we will be responding today. It is only 8.32 as I am typing. We have all of today to respond to you. As such, we will not be conducting an internal review." can be found in this request (which LSE have aggregated into 1 request): https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/b...

Yours faithfully,
