I am writing to make an open government request for all the information to which I am entitled under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Please send me:

• The details of any companies who are contracted to provide courier services such as - mail, post or delivery and collection or parcels
• The current expenditure per contract year for the provision of courier services
• The expiry date of any contracts / agreements for the provision of courier services or similar services
• Number of service credits applied to the incumbent service provider (if applicable)
• The name, job title, telephone number & email address of the manager/officer responsible for the delivery of courier services or similar services

I would like the above information to be provided to me as paper or electronic copies or an opportunity to view. If this request is too wide or unclear, I would be grateful if you could contact me as I understand that under the Act, you are required to advise and assist requesters. If any of this information is already in the public domain, please can you direct me to it, with page references and URLs if necessary.

If the release of any of this information is prohibited on the grounds of breach of confidence, I ask that you supply me with copies of the confidentiality agreement and remind you that information should not be treated as confidential if such an agreement has not been signed.

I understand that you are required to respond to my request within the 20 working days after you receive this letter. I would be grateful if you could confirm in writing that you have received this request.

        The Open University Estates Postroom are not contracted with any
companies to provide services, internal and external mail collection and
delivery.

Review

request to be reviewed.  Freedom of Information Reviews are considered by
the University Secretary or his delegate.  Your request must be submitted
within 40 working days of receipt of this letter/email. Reviews should be
addressed to the above inbox, entitled “FOIA Review”, and should set out
the reasons for the review.   You will have a further right of appeal to
the Information Commissioner’s Office.
