Dear Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs,

As broadcast on country File 13th August 2015 during an item on the killing and disposal for mail dairy calves. the presenter stated :-

"no one can put an exact figure on the number of dairy bull calves being shot..."

Please provide the exact numbers per for 2000 - 2017.

Under your own legal requirement for Fallen Stock 'https://www.gov.uk/guidance/fallen-stock... all stock must be "it must be collected, identified and transported from your farm as soon as is reasonably practical." I presume therefore that you have the figures to share.
