Dear Claire,

I am conscious that we are now overdue on this request and I am writing to
apologise to you. We are concerned to provide a full and accurate response
which has led to the delay. This is due to a high volume of requests at a
busy time of year for us and the unavailability of a key member of staff
in this area.

I hope to be able to send our final response next week but we will of
course keep you informed.

Kind regards,

Lyn
