Dear Mr Cameron,

Thank you for your information request of 25 July 2019 and please accept
our apologies for delay in providing the response to you.  Aberdeen City
Council (ACC) has completed the necessary search for the information
requested. Our response is now detailed below.

With regards to your previous response of  FOI-19-0352, can you tell me:

 1. Is the work finished? If not, when is expected completion date?

The task being undertaken is not only to inspect the works carried out as
part of the Council’s heating upgrade programme but is to inspect the
communal areas of the buildings as part of the Council’s essential
maintenance programme and carry out any required repairs.

The works to the first 17 blocks noted previously have been completed as
has the works to a further 25 blocks. Works are ongoing at a further 10
blocks. (Although no pipe casings were removed at Hilton Court, other
maintenance works were carried out).

It is envisaged that all works to the 59no. blocks will be completed by
the end of October 2019.

 2. How much has the work cost the council in total?

To date the costs for the works carried out is £552,626.

 3. How much has the work on the 16 high rises listed in the response to
question 2? (You'll note that the council has previously clarified
that Hilton Court was included in this list in error).

It is difficult to extrapolate this information due to the way in which
the tender documents have been prepared, but it is estimated that the cost
of the work to the first 17 blocks would be in the region of £220,000.
