Dear Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service,

Please could you provide any correspondence Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service have had with the UK Government regarding the level of the council tax precept set by the Fire Authority.

The Chair of the Fire Authority stated at a meeting on Thursday 23 January 2020 that she was writing to the Prime Minister to request the Fire Authority be allowed to increase the Band D precept set by the authority by £5. The Chief Financial Officer also referenced correspondence with a UK Government Minister at a meeting on December 9 2020.

This request refers to these and any other letters and emails either sent by or received by politicians or officials on behalf of the Fire Authority.

Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes Fire Authority have had with the UK
Government regarding the level of the council tax precept set by the Fire

If you have any queries about this email please contact me within two
calendar months quoting reference 54. If you are unhappy with the service
you have received in relation to your request and wish to make a complaint
or request an review of our decision, you should write to the Complaints
Officer at the address below within 40 working days. Our complaints
process is posted on our website at [1]www.bucksfire.gov.uk

 

If you are not content with the outcome your complaint, you may apply
directly to the Information Commissioner for a decision. Generally, the
ICO cannot make a decision unless you have exhausted the complaints
procedure provided by the Authority. The Information Commissioner can be
contacted at: The Information Commissioner’s Office, Wycliffe House, Water
Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF.
