Council tax on-line payment
Dear Tunbridge Wells Borough Council,
If a payment is made on-line or by automated 24 hour telephone do you automatically set up a payment plan without the customers knowledge or what is the time frame for the customer to tell the council that they do not want a payment plan set up ?

Thank you for your Freedom of Information request and please accept my
apologies for the delay in responding.
If a payment is made on-line or by automated 24 hour telephone do you
automatically set up a payment plan without the customers knowledge or
what is the time frame for the customer to tell the council that they do
not want a payment plan set up?
We can confirm we would not set up automatic payment plans, they are only
set up a payment plan when the customer is notified by letter of the
arrangement.
