Council Tax Information

David made this Freedom of Information request to Frinton and Walton Town Council

Automatic anti-spam measures are in place for this older request. Please let us know if a further response is expected or if you are having trouble responding.

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Frinton and Walton Town Council should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Frinton and Walton Town Council,

I believe the Town Council is increasing the council tax by 4.5%.

under the freedom of information act

Please can you provide in full,

1) all calculations/workings
2) meeting comments/minutes

regarding the council tax on how the 4.5% was calculated and agreed upon

Yours faithfully,

David

David

More than happy to provide any information if you attend the Town Council office and present a £10 fee to cover our administration costs - same reply for your last request. So donating to a charity does not cover our costs.

Also what is your full name and address please?

Jerry

Dear Frinton and Walton Town Council,

Thank you for your response. I think it would be best to keep my two requests separate when responding.

Regarding the £10 cost, Please can you provide by email the information requested

The law requires that if you ask for the information to be provided in a particular format the public authority is required to do so, so long as it is as reasonably practicable.

"There’s no need to explicitly request a response ‘via email’, though: we consider that by making your request via WhatDoTheyKnow, you are already making this clear."

Regarding my address under

section 8.1.b of the FOI Act asks for an "address for correspondence", and that the email address I am using is sufficient.

Yours sincerely,

David
