Council Tax

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council, I have to pay Council Tax on an empty house I am trying to sell, do New Charter also pay Council Tax on all their empty houses in Tameside?.

Thank you for your email received 4 March 2015 requesting information
under the Freedom of Information Act.  I understand your request to be as
follows:

 

Dear Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council, I have to pay Council Tax on
an empty house I am trying to sell, do New Charter also pay Council Tax on
all their empty houses in Tameside?.

Your request is being considered as a request under the Freedom of
Information Act 2000.  In accordance with statutory requirements, it may
take up to 20 working days (approximately 4 weeks) for the Council to
consider your request and provide a formal response.  Should this 20
working day deadline need to be extended you will be notified and kept
informed.
