Dear Department for Communities (Northern Ireland),

Please advise of any guidance or approval given to Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council which facilitates Chairs of standing Committees receiving over £9000 each year for their special responsibility allowance when equivalent positions in Belfast and other City Councils are significantly less.

It appears that the Mayor allowance is not included into their overall special responsibility figure and no other Council operates that way.
