Dear Newcastle upon Tyne City Council,

1) since 1.4.2009 has there been any special circumstances where staff from private companies have been allowed to draw their pensions from the council staff pension scheme or have been offered this opportunity?

2) if so, please provide details and minutes of the decision and any written acceptances.

3) please provide any other relevant documents, in particular those which address the topic of whether to alleviate a private company of its normal financial obligations towards its staff.
