47 people have downsized using our under occupancy scheme.

The figure includes people who have down sized and are not affected by the
bed room tax e.g. house to bungalow over pension credit age. The figures

be given.

No, still as high a demand for 3 or more bed properties

Rotherham MBC has decided that in providing the information required
between 1997 & April 2011 will exceed the maximum cost threshold as
detailed in the Freedom of Information and Data Protection (Appropriate
Limit and Fees) Regulations 2004. To gather this information would exceed
the 18 hours of staff time to ‘locate and retrieve’ the information.

However within the time limit we can provide the figures from April 2011
please see table below.

April 2011 to March 2012
One Bed 8

and two-bed social housing demand in your area. Include any schemes to
bring long-term voids back into use or repurpose derelict buildings.

Flexible options on new properties –;

For instance asking for one bedroom properties that have large bedrooms
and two windows, so they can be sub-divided into two smaller bedrooms in
the future; if the need arises.

Asking for more two bedroom properties via Section 106 agreements.
