expressed interest in each estate in the past 10 years 4. Number of people

This request is being handled under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

I am writing to ask you to clarify your request.

For accuracy, could you provide a more comprehensive definition of a
'council estate'? There are estates that are entirely composed of tenanted
properties, estates that are a mixture of tenant and leasehold, and
estates that could be a mixture of private, tenant, and leasehold.

Also could you please confirm when you say 'social tenants' does this mean
Council tenants or does this include Housing Association tenants?

I will not be able to take this matter further without this extra
information from you. Please let me know by 12/06/2020. If I do not hear
from you within the timeframe provided, I shall take it that you do not
wish to pursue this request and will consider the request closed.

Yours faithfully

Dear Ms Baffour

Freedom of Information Act 2000

I am writing to update you regarding your request for information
regarding council housing estates, tenants and properties details.

We are dealing with your request for information and normally we would aim
to send a response within 20 working days from the date of receipt.

However, in view of the current covid-19 crisis, the government has made a
commitment to supporting councils to focus our efforts on the priority
areas of social care, providing vital support for vulnerable people and
supporting their local economies.

Therefore, they have relaxed the statutory guidelines around the response
times for Freedom of Information Requests.

We are extending the response times by 20 working days, that is to 8 May
2020  although we hope to release the information to you sooner, if
possible.
If you have any questions please contact me on 0208 753 2732 or
[email address].

Yours sincerely
