Dear Mark

I must advise that, as your request did not include your surname, it is
strictly speaking not a valid one under the Freedom of Information
(Scotland) Act 2002. While we have no wish to hold up your enquiry it could
pose problems if you are dissatisfied with the response provided by the
local authority. The danger is that the absence of a surname means that you
are unable to appeal to the Scottish Information Commissioner if you are
unhappy with the information given in response to your request. While we
would hope that this would not be the case, it would not be appropriate for
the Council to process your request in its current form. I would therefore
ask that you resubmit your request to us along with your full name in the
body of the text.

Kind regards

Steven Gardiner
