I'd like to make a request under the Freedom of Information act for all transactions over £500 from 1st April 2017 to 31st December 2018 (if December 2018 is not available, then, November 2018). Please provide the data in a machine readable format (preferably csv). As a minimum, please make sure to include the date, value and recipient of each transaction. Please also provide details on the procurement category of each transaction if you have it.

You should have received a response by 7 March 2019, but you received no
response, for which I apologise.

 

I now attach spreadsheets setting out the information which you have
requested.  The first spreadsheet relates to the Education and Children’s
Services Department.  On that, a figure is provided in respect of Barbara
J Hudson, the independent chair of the local Fostering and Adoption Panel,
who is paid for her services.  In addition, the Comhairle spent £256,241
on foster carers between 1 April 2017 and 31 December 2018 as follows:

 

April 17 – March 18

Fostering Fees 58,484
Long Term Fostering 28,523
Short Term Fostering 98,758

 

April 18 – Dec 18

Fostering Fees 22,061
Long Term Fostering 25,835
Short Term Fostering 22,580

 

The other spreadsheets relate to Social and Community Services (i.e. adult
services).  No information is provided in respect of question 2d as that
is not a recognised category of provider.

 

For question 2g, the Comhairle paid £215,000 to Mr W Herron, a local B&B
operator, over the relevant period.
