Council Expenditure or Payment to Suppliers (Homelessness services) from Jan-Jun 2019

The request was successful.

Dear South Ayrshire Council,

I'd like to make a request under the Freedom of Information act for all transactions over £500 from Jan-Jun 2019 - specifically looking for payments to suppliers who provide Homelessness services only. As a minimum, please make sure to include the date, value and recipient of each transaction. Please also provide details on the procurement category of each transaction if you have it & any additional descriptors.

With regards to suppliers of homelessness services, I am referring to :-

Services such as finding temporary/affordable social housing or short-life leasing schemes for the homeless, providing informal move on support. Providing free legal advice and court attendance to help people who’ve lost their homes or are facing eviction. Specialist support like for substance abuse.

Additionally, the payment transactions involved would generally fall under 3 types :-

1. Accommodation Expenses - these would include for eg payments to Bed and Breakfast type accommodations - hostels, etc to give homeless people a roof over their head, a meal and other basic amenities
2. Support Services type transactions - these could include help to enable homeless people to turn their lives around and other support services like transport, assistance with interviews, etc &
3. S17 type transactions - which we understand might be redacted - it gives us an idea of the problem - the support systems required. It gives us an understanding so when we apply economic and other matrices we can understand the outcomes in the future

In particular I am looking for itemized transactions for these suppliers - preferably in CSV format. I look forward to the information at the earliest.

Yours Faithfully,
Nikhil Prabhu
