Council Estates in the Vale of White Horse district and Security companies which operate cctv cameras in these estates

The request was successful.

Dear Vale of White Horse District Council,

1) I am looking to obtain details on the location of council owned housing estates in the Vale of White Horse district. Ideally i would prefer a map that shows clearly the defined area of each estate which would probably be something held by a GIS team on ArcView or MapInfo type products. I cannot seem to find anything online.
I would be very grateful if you could supply a map of this information naming the estates.

2) I would also like the name of every single CCTV security agency which holds a contract to operate the CCTV cameras which monitor the Council estates in the above

Yours faithfully,

Nahom YY

For the Attention of Nahom YY

I am e-mailing in response to your 2 Freedom of information requests
above. I am answering for both Vale of White Horse District Council and
South Oxfordshire District Council.

For information: Both Council's are LSVT Authorities (Large
Scale Voluntary Transfer) and this is referenced on our websites.

SODC transferred their housing stock to SOHA 7 July
1997 [1]http://www.southoxon.gov.uk/services-and...

Vale transferred their housing stock to Sovereign 9 February
1995 [2]http://www.whitehorsedc.gov.uk/services-....

Here is the information we are able to provide:

1) I am looking to obtain details on the location of council owned housing
estates in the area of South Oxfordshire. Ideally i would prefer a map
that shows clearly the defined area of each estate which would probably be
something held by a GIS team on ArcView or MapInfo type products. I cannot
seem to find anything online.
I would be very grateful if you could supply a map of this information
naming the estates.
The CCTV town centre scheme is run by South and Vale District Councils.
We do not own any housing stock within our districts and therefore do not
have council owned housing estates.  However, some of the cameras within
our scheme are situated in residential areas.  Please find attached a list
of cameras within South and Vale.
2) I would also like the name of every single CCTV security agency which
holds a contract to operate the CCTV cameras which monitor the Council
estates in the above
The South and Vale CCTV control room is situated within Abingdon Police
Station and operated by District Council employees who hold a CCTV SIA
licence.
