a. Does the council have a 100% renewable green electricity tariff for all
of the electricity that the council is directly responsible for, and is
this tariff with Green Energy UK plc, Good Energy Limited or Ecotricity?

Answer to QA: Yes, but we do not use any of the above companies

b. Does the council generate and use energy from waste? And if so, what
percentage of the council’s total electricity use is powered by these
energy from waste electricity sources?

Answer to QB: NO

c. Does the council buy directly from a local renewable electricity source
or have its own renewable electricity sources? And if so, what percentage
of the council's total electricity use is powered by this/these renewable
electricity sources?

Answer to QC: Hinckley and Bosworth Borough does not buy directly from
local renewable sources but does generate its own electricity from
photovoltaic arrays on its buildings, which is fed back into the grid and
the council receives a payment for this. The electricity generated equates
to 4.9% of power consumed for the 21/22 FY.

The information provided in response to Freedom of Information requests is
