Council day centre staff subsidy for adult Learning Disabilities

The request was successful.

Dear Glasgow City Council,

Could you supply me with information regarding staff subsidy for lunch and activity/entry fee when staff are supporting clients while out in the community on a day outing or day centre summer programme .

(1) Is there a subsidy agreed with staff on spend on lunch while out supporting clients and how much is that .

(2) Is this from a petty cash holding within day centre

(3) Are all staff informed of supplying receipts for lunch/activity/entry fee re this subsidy

(4) Is the activity/entry fee paid from the petty cash holding for staff

(5) Is there guidance or policy re staff subsidy within day centres in Glasgow

(6) How much is it to attend an adult learning disabled day centre in Glasgow and can you supply a break down of the cost

Yours faithfully,

Linda Mccafferty

Dear Ms McCafferty,

With regard to the response to your enquiry sent on Friday 26^th February
as below, I now attach an update. I was advised today that the rates for
adult learning disability days centres have very recently changed, which
impacts upon the answer to question 6 of your enquiry. I have also been
advised that some different local arrangements exist for the paying of
expenses within those learning disability day centres and have updated
other responses accordingly.

I apologise that I did not have the complete information available to me
on Friday, though my response was sent in good faith based upon
information submitted to me at that point.
