Dear Francis Kerr,

Thank you for your information request and please accept our sincere
apologies for delay in providing the response to you. We have completed
the necessary search for the information requested. Our response is now
detailed below.

1) An up-to-date list of all assets currently owned by the Council (or
please provide a link if publicly available).

Please see:
https://www.aberdeencity.gov.uk/sites/de...

As an up-to-date list of all assets currently owned by the Council  is
otherwise accessible on our website through the above link, it is exempt
from disclosure. In order to comply with its obligations under the terms
of Section 16 of the FOISA, we are informing you that we are refusing your
request under the terms of Section 25(1) - Information Otherwise
Accessible - of the FOISA.

2) A list of all assets disposed by the Council since 2000 (or as early to
this date as records you hold allow), including the date and reason of
disposal (or please provide a link if publicly available). Also, please
include details of who the asset was disposed to, such as a partner for
future use or as a result of a Community Asset Transfer request, etc.
Clarification from FOI Team: Applicant is solely interested in property
assets of the local authority.

Please find enclosed the spreadsheet.

Please note that there are 237 lines from the year 2000 onwards where
information is missing. This requires an officer to check electronic case
files or recall paper files from storage. Some of the information will be
straight forward but there will be cases where the officer needs to spend
a bit of time working through the case file. This has been calculated at
15 minutes per file, which equates to 59 hours, at the cost of £885 in
total.

We are unable to provide you with information on a list of all assets
disposed by the Council since 2000 (or as early to this date as records
you hold allow), including the date and reason of disposal (or please
provide a link if publicly available). Also, please include details of who
the asset was disposed to, such as a partner for future use or as a result
of a Community Asset Transfer request, etc as the cost of providing it has
been calculated as being in excess of the statutory maximum (£600).

In order to comply with our obligations under the terms of Section 16 of
the FOISA, we hereby give notice that we are refusing your request under
the terms of Section 12 - Excessive Cost of Compliance - of the FOISA.

We would be happy to discuss ways in which you may refine your request, so
we can provide some information of interest to you within the maximum cost
limits. Please do contact the Access to Information team, who will be
happy to advise you, if this is something you would like to pursue.

We handled your request for information in accordance with the provisions
of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.

If you are dissatisfied with the way we have handled your request or the
content of it, you are entitled to ask for an appeal. You can do this from
your [1]Aberdeen City Council self service account.

For more information on your right to review, please visit [2]Freedom of
Information Review and Appeals.

We hope this helps with your request.

Kind regards

Dear Francis,

As far as I can see from our side, the spreadsheet was attached before responding. I have attached it again for you.

Could you let me know that you have received it please? If not, could you provide me with an alternative email address as it may be an issue with whatdotheyknow.com.

Thanks,
Grant
