I am responding to your request for information, which has been considered under the 
Environmental Information Regulations 2004 (EIR) and logged as case 23084630.  
  
Your request is as follows: 
  
“As of October 2023, please could you tell me:  
 
1) How many allotment sites are in the following areas  
Macclesfield  
Congleton  
Crewe & Nantwich  
 
  
2) Please can you give allotment waiting list data for each Borough please?  
 
3) What is the total number of plots on these sites?  
 
4) How many new council allotment sites were brought into use in since 2020?  
 
Please give:  
a) number of new sites  
b) total number of new plots” 
  
I can confirm that Cheshire East holds some of the information you requested.

In response to your question 1, there are 15 sites, in total - 2 sites managed by Cheshire East, 
plot data is not held. 
 
We do not hold the data in relation to the remaining questions.  
 
Therefore regulation 12(4)(a) applies to questions 2-4 of your request. Regulation 12(4)(a) 
provides an exception to the duty to disclose information when information is not held.
