Could Cllr Ann O’Byrne ,be accused of "active concealment of documents" and "a culture of defensiveness". Percy St L8

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Liverpool City Council should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Liverpool City Council,

Transparency International. Has been looking into the unresolved scandal of the New Chinatown debacle in Liverpool.

They have issued a report on corruption in local government. In this, they place Liverpool in category five (out of six) in councils open to corruption.

1/ What contracts did the Liverpool city council award to the Mees Group and or Thomas Mee, “a well-known local businessman”?

2/ Did Cllr Ann O’Byrne award the Mees Group and Thomas Mee, the contract to work on: These properties at 40-50 Percy Street Liverpool 8 and 53-57 Upper parliament Street Liverpool 8 with the Elliot group & Elliott Lawless?

Cllr Ann O’Byrne, was told of Mr Mee, to other such figures as 'Samuel Beilin & partners' and to be very careful of this person.

Cllr Ann O’Byrne was told about ‘Thomas Mee’ and his apartment at the same address as Elliot Lawless ‘Beetham Tower’.

Cllr Ann O’Byrne was told of Thomas Mee’s involvement of a Glock handgun which may have been used in a number of shooting in Liverpool.

3/ According to several Cunard LCC inside staff, Thomas ‘Mee and Mee Group’ had a working relationship with 3 members of the Liverpool city council and the Mayor’s office has the LCC got any records of this on file?

4/ Andy Barr LCC, has he or any other member of the LCC been involved with the Mees Group or Thomas Mee?

5/ Was the Elliot group told to only use the ‘Mees group’ on all his sites in Liverpool, and did this order come from the ‘Mayor’s office or Andy Barr?

Yours faithfully,

Mrs, L Roblin
