Our response
I request FULL details of ALL costs of the whole process leading up to and including the hearing held on the 22nd November. Please breakdown your reply as follows -

1)Total financial cost borne by Vale Of Glamorgan Council with regard to Independent Members of the Standards Committee and the TCC representative are co-opted Members paid in line with the Independent Remuneration Panel for Wales determinations.
The current years allowances for 2024/25 can be found in section 27 titled Members allowances scheme of the Council's Constitution on the Council's website at paragraph 27.3. We have provided the link to the Councils Constitution on the website below:

The duties of the Standards Committee can be found in Section 8 of the Constitution. With regard to the costs for the hearing on 22nd November the Independent Members have been advised they can claim 2 days allowance which includes reading time, travel time and the time for the hearing itself, as outlined in line with the determinations of the Independent Remuneration for Wales. With regard to the Elected Members of Council, the duties undertaken in relation to the Standards Committee functions form part of their annual allowance which again can be found in the Council's Constitution, link above, at section 27 under the title Members allowances scheme.

With regard to employees, the duties performed by the Council officers supporting the Committee are part of their duties e.g. individual job descriptions, terms and conditions and annual salary.

2) Internal costs or hours expended by Vale Of Glamorgan Council employees
As above for officers

3) External costs met by Vale Of Glamorgan Council funds
