Dear Birmingham City Council,
In the weekly news bulletin https://www.birmingham.gov.uk/blog/schoo... , you refer to hosting a visit by delegates from Indonesia
"On Monday this week I was privileged to welcome a delegation of teachers from Indonesia and representatives of the British Council to Birmingham. Our guests were hosted by the Lord Mayor and Cabinet Members Cllr John Cotton and Cllr Jayne Francis at the Council House, where the Indonesian flag was proudly flying. Many of you will know a delegation from Birmingham travelled to Jakarta last March and this visit is the next stage of a truly exciting partnership between the two cities. The delegation have visited many schools across the city and have really enjoyed their visit. Thank you very much to Somerville, Arthur Terry, Bishop Vesey, Ninestiles, Saltley, Bordesley Green Girls' and Robin Hood"
How much did the council spend hosting this delegation? What was the cost of any travel paid for from Council bank accounts either to Birmingham or around the city?
How many council officers were directly involved in hosting the visit and at what cost?
What is the nature of the 'truly exciting partnership between the two cities' and what further activities have been planned (to date of this request) as a result of this visit
