I understand from Leeds City Council that you have contributed either directly or indirectly to the costs of the Tour de France taking place in Yorkshire.
Please would you provide the total costs which you incurred either directly or indirectly to the staging of the event and a breakdown of those costs.
If you do not yet know these costs, then please can you provide the date by when you will know them.

I refer to your recent enquiry relating to the above which has been dealt
with under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

Response:

 

The final costs of the Tour de France to Kirklees Council is still being
calculated and is subject to the conclusion of ongoing contractual
discussions.  The council intends to publish a Cabinet Report which will
make public the cost of the Tour de France once all costs have been
finalised.  I have noted your request and will forward a copy of the
report to you as soon as it becomes available.

 

If you are not content with the handling of your request, you have the
right to ask for an internal review.  Requests for internal reviews should
be submitted within 2 months of the date of receipt of the response to
your original request and should be addressed to the Monitoring Officer,
Civic Centre I, PO Box 1274, Huddersfield HD1 2WZ.  Alternatively, you can

Please remember to quote the reference number above in any future
