Dear Mr Turner,
Thank you for your request about the National Minimum Wage helpline.
Unfortunately the helpline is now administered by the Department for
Business, Innovation & Skills, I attach details of how they can be
contacted.

Thank you

Dear Tony,

Thank you for your reply. I am concerned with two issues: first that you seem a little unsure of the current status of the helpline and who runs it - presumably you must actually have solid information about this within the HMRC rather than making what appear to be guesses.

Second, can I assume that you have the information I have asked for prior to 2009? If so, I'd appreciate the information as I requested (ie for the last five years).

Thank you for your attention.

Yours sincerely,

Joe Turner

Dear Mr Turner,
I am sorry if my reply comes across as being uncertain. I have been
trying to make contact with my counterparts in BIS to establish whether
they
(a) administer the new Helpline (their internet site says they do)
(b) have the backdated information.
Unfortunately I have been unable to get an answer from BIS.
My contact in HMRC tells me that BIS should have the information
required, but my failure to obtain a reply from BIS has meant I cannot
confirm they will have.

Thank you
