Subject: FOI - Costs of staging Mayor''s Question Time events 2022 to 2024

the statutory timescale of 20 working days, subject to the application of
any exemptions. Where consideration is being given to exemptions the 20
working day timescale may be extended to a period considered reasonable
depending on the nature and circumstances of your request. In such cases

Further to your request received on 22/03/2024, I confirm that the Council
has now considered your request under the Freedom of Information Act
2000. Specifically, you have requested the following information:

"Please provide a list of all the Mayor's Question Time events staged
since May 2022.

Please provide the cost of hiring each venue.

Please provide the cost of organising each event in terms of hours worked
by officers on each staging; costs of publicity; costs of equipment
bought; transport costs for Mayor, Deputy Mayor and staff; all other
ancillary on-costs (itemised where possible).

Please provide the number of officers who attended each event.

Please provide the number of registered attendees at each event."

Mayor's Question Time is delivering a commitment which the Mayor made to
residents during his campaign to listen to residents of Croydon.
 

• Staging the event is part of officers existing job roles and cannot be
itemised
• There is no transportation cost for the Mayor or Deputy Mayor
• Equipment: PA systems were used borrowed free inhouse.
• The artwork template for the flyer is provided inhouse so free and
social media postings free.
