The request was successful.

Dear Scottish Government,

What was the costs to the public purse for the Scotch Whisky Association (SWA) to challenge the minimum alcohol pricing per unit policy set out by Scot Gov.

Specifically

All court fees (this includes lawyers fees, admin etc) attributed to Scot Gov over the 5 year course of the legal case in total.

How much of the finance required was directly from the public purse? (ie taken from taxes or Scotlands block grant).

Any Scot Gov fees that SWA had to cover as a result of losing the case.

Yours faithfully,

Mark
