Costs of bringing Sheffield Supertram under public control
Dear South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority,
Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I would like to request a breakdown of the costs associated with bringing the trams under public control as detailed in the Supertram 2025/26 Annual Business Plan page 10.
Could you provide the following costs
1. New modern office accommodation in Sheffield City Centre.
2. Finance, HR, payroll and IT systems.
3. Brand development and associated marketing costs.
4. App development for purchasing tickets and planning journeys.
5. Cost of transferring over 350 employees including TUPE costs.
6. Certification from the regulator.
7. Safety Management System development.
Please include the total or estimated cost and indicate whether these are final or subject to change. If they are not yet available, please indicate these where possible,
