Costs incurred as a result of the River Lea industrial oil spill, February-April 2018

Tom Whitehead made this Freedom of Information request to Environment Agency

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was refused by Environment Agency.

Dear Environment Agency,

We wish to file an FOI regarding the industrial oil spill on the River Lea in February 2018; specifically concerning costs incurred through the use of contractors, dedicated staff hours, waste management, items used such as spill pads and booms, and any other such related costs that the EA incurred throughout the period of 11 February - 30 April 2018.

This will be instrumental for lobbying efforts at a parliamentary level to increase EA funding.

Yours faithfully,
Tom Whitehead
On behalf of Lea Boaters Collective
