Costs in legal proceedings

The request was successful.

Dear Norfolk Constabulary,

I am requesting information on public money spent on the case on Wayne Leighton v Officer for Police Crime Commissioner of Norfolk & the Chief Constable of Norfolk Police.

I request to know the figure of“all” costs and invoices that will be or have been paid to Essex Court and Beatrice Collier.

As your Office has undoubtedly shown negativity towards me in the past, I must in from you that this request falls squarely under the FOI Act and you are obliged to provide the following information. This obligation has been reaffirmed in the case of Neil Wilby v Office for Police and Crime Commissioner for North Yorkshire. This request was identical to mine and the PCC refused it. The case went to Court and the Tribunal made an Order for the PCC to supply the information.

I trust you will fulfill your obligations and there will be no need to waster any public funds on taking this case to the Tribunal.

Yours faithfully,

Wayne Leighton

Dear Norfolk Constabulary,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Norfolk Constabulary's handling of my FOI request 'Costs in legal proceedings'.

I had already quoted as obliging the information and the IC decision which shows Ms Gibosn has intentionally misconducted her duties under the Police Code of Ethics.

Apart from logging this as a formal Internal Review. this is also your confirmation in writing that I wish to make a complaint against Amanda Gisbon for breaching the Standards of Professional Behaviour

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/c...

Yours faithfully,

Wayne Leigthon

Dear Mr Leighton,

The email below clearly states that the deadline for the Internal Review is 4th March 2019 and therefore the Constabulary's response is not overdue. Unless you are referring to another email that you sent requesting an Internal Review to which I responded on 7th February and at this time have not received a response from you. Until you provide the clarification requested an Internal Review cannot be undertaken. I have attached my previous email for your convenience.

Yours sincerely,

Dear John,

You may wish to take a trip to Spec Savers.

This is not the Scheme of Delegation Request, it is the cost of legal proceedings.

Yours sincerely,

Wayne Leighton
