Information Governance, Hull City Council

Dear Mr Barnes

Freedom of Information Act 2000 – Information Request - 002014/19

With regard to your Freedom of Information request received on 27
September 2019, please find our response below.

Please could you provide me with a breakdown in costings of what you would
expect to pay an Independent Fostering Agency for:

A) 12 week PAMS assessment

The average cost for this is £1,688 per week (regional commissioning White
Rose - Fostering contract terms).

B) 12 week family accommodation (cost for mother and baby) per week

The average cost for this is £1,378 per week (for one parent - mother or
father).

C) Additional costing of additional child (for 12 weeks) per week

There is no cost outlined within the White Rose Fostering contract terms
and conditions for the Parent & Child Lot and we have never had to procure
this service.  This would be negotiated at the time of placement if
required.

D) Additional cost if father is involved in assessment (12 weeks) per week

There is no cost outlined within the White Rose Fostering contract terms
and conditions for the Parent & Child Lot for involvement of second parent
(mother or father) and we have never had to procure this service.  Costs
would be negotiated at the time of placement if required.

E) Supervised contact (cost per hour)

The average cost for this on the White Rose Framework is £40.00 per hour,
however we have never had to commission this as the parent in placement
would not need supervised contact, and if supervised contact was needed
for other adults, this is generally delivered by our own in-house contact
team.

F) Transportation (time and mileage)

As per the White Rose Fostering Framework; the first 200 miles
transportation per child placed is included in the weekly price.  Anything
above this will be charged at a rate of 45p per mile.

We hope that you will be satisfied with our response and should you
require any further information then please do not hesitate to contact
