The request was partially successful.

Dear Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust,

Could you advise me who instigated the Patient Administration Redesign Programme. If no individual instigated the process then can you supply me with those persons on the committee who made the decision, together with the name of that committee.

Could you further advise me of the cost to the Trust so far in reaching this current phase together with the potential costs yet to be incurred to complete the redesign. Also can you advise me how long this process has taken to date and how much longer it is envisaged to take.

Could you ensure that all external consultancy and internal costs for reallocating staff to examine this process are included.

Could you please advise me of the potential savings envisaged by this process, based on the current active model against the proposed model.

Yours faithfully,

Pete Mitch

Dear Foi Enquiries (COUNTESS OF CHESTER HOSPITAL NHS FOUNDATION TRUST),
Many thanks for your reply, however in the light of the recent letter to the unions in respect of the consultation process it does seem that your projection of savings of around £350k may have been optimistic.

I will be requesting further information in the form of a follow up query.

Yours sincerely,
