The request was successful.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I would like to know, for each of the last 12 years, the cost of the Director General's Children in Need parties in Television Centre, and how these parties were funded?

if funded by private sponsors, who are those sponsors, and do they have, or are they bidding for any contracts with the BBC?

a guest list for last year's event would also be much appreciated.

Yours faithfully,

Martin Caldwell.

2008 £59,713.87. Why can't all those people on the guest list pay for their own drinks and food? If they really want to help children in need they would not want to take a single penny from the funds gathered, but they would be most anxious to contribute to the funds instead.
