Please provide the following information

A) How many council workers are classed as working at Knowsley Council's communications and marketing team i.e. press office?
B) What is the cost of running the press office, including i: overall salary cost, ii: office running cost, iii everything else?
C) How many requests were made to the press office at Knowsley Council in 2012 and (so far) in 2013 by the media (TV, radio, press, other?
D) How many of those requests were replied to by Knowsley Council, in the same dates as above? (i.e. were some not replied to?)
E) If the council press office did not reply to X number of
requests, please explain why.
F) Can you provide me with copies of all requests not replied to?
(If it breaches confidentiality/data protection can the sender info be redacted?)
G) Can you explain why those requests were not replied to?
H)How much has Knowsley Council spent on advertising in 2012 and so far 2013?
I) How much has Knowsley Council spent on statutory notices
(planning/highways/Procurement/licensing/finance etc) in 2012 and so far 2013 and which organisations was it with? Please also provide the number of notices for each department,

I am writing to request an internal review of Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council's handling of my FOI request 'Cost of the Council Press and Communication Office'.

I made the original request on 8th August 2013, the response should have been with me by the 9th September 2013. I prompted you to send a response on 9th September however you neither acknowledged or responded to my prompt.

A.              How many council workers are classed as working at
Knowsley Council’s communications and marketing team, ie press office?

B.              What is the cost of running the press office, including i:

The costs of running the press office, including i, ii and iii above is
£381,936.28.

 

H.        How much has Knowsley Council spent on advertising in 2012 and
so far in 2013?

 

            In the financial year 2012/13, the council spent £39,363.43 on
advertising.

            So far, in the financial year 2013/14, the council’s spend on
advertising has been £22,644.67.

 

I.                How much has Knowsley Council spent on statutory notices
(planning/ highways/procurement/licensing/finance etc) in 2012 and so far
in 2013 and which organisations was it with?  Please also provide the
number of notices for each department.

In 2012/13, the council has spent £45,354 on statutory notices with the
Daily Post (Liverpool edition), Liverpool Echo and the London Gazette.

To date in the financial year 2013/14, the council has spent £40,963 on
statutory notices with the Daily Post (Liverpool edition) and the
Liverpool Echo.

This advertising is booked through an external media buyer and paid for
centrally.  It is therefore not possible to breakdown this spend.
