Cost of Temporary Football Ground at Ponteland and County Council sponsorship of Ponteland sporting clubs
Dear Northumberland County Council,
Can you please furnish me with the costs spent so far in relocating Ponteland Football Club to its new temporary high quality fenced off football stadium?
From previous FOI requests the general public is aware of the very low rates sporting clubs in Ponteland pay the Council through its contracting ALMO Active Northumberland for pitch and services hire.
Is it the policy of Northumberland County Council as a leisure client and or its contracting ALMO Active Northumberland, to sponsor sporting clubs in the more affluent areas of Northumberland to the detriment of those clubs in the more deprived areas of the County?.
Ponteland is a senior football club playing in the Northern Alliance, what similar assistance in cash or in kind has been given to other senior football clubs in Northumberland by Northumberland County Council as a client or through its contracting ALMO Active Northumberland
Yours faithfully,
Ranger Not
