Cost of sending sports pundits to sports events

The request was refused by British Broadcasting Corporation.

Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,

I am a licence fee payer and would like to know how much money is spent by the BBC on sending sports pundits to sporting events in both the UK and abroad per year covering the last ten years. Covering such events as the Olympics, Rugby World Cup etc.
I would like to know how much is spent on their expenses, travel and accommodation costs, their clothing budget and their wages.
I am concerned that there are too many pundits being flown around the globe at ours and the planet’s expense

Yours faithfully,
Paul Vernon
