Cost of repairs on M6 near Carlisle following glue spillage

The request was partially successful.

Dear Highways England Company Limited,

Under the Freedom of Information Act I would like to know:

* How much repairs on the M6 at junction 44 (Carlisle North) cost following a glue spillage on Monday, February 12 2018. The road was closed for approximately five days to allow repairs.

If possible, could these costs be broken down by labour and materials and any other associated costs.

* If those costs have been reimbursed by Highways England from the company responsible for the spillage.

* Following the spillage, how many motorists have contacted Highways England to report they drove through it and subsequently damaged their vehicles.

Yours faithfully,

Jonny Irving
