Cost of Quarry Hill / Brook Street Tonbridge cycling lane scheme

The request was partially successful.

Dear Kent County Council,

I would like to be informed of the total cost from public funds of the aborted cycle lane scheme, recently trialed in Quarry Hill Road and Brook Street area of Tonbridge:

Specifically, I wish to know the cost of attempting to implement the scheme and how it was funded and the cost of reinstating the road to its previous condition following abandonment of the scheme and how that was funded. The figures should include all associated activities, such as traffic management and other subcontracted services directly related to the scheme.

I would also like to know whether Tonbridge & Malling Borough Council were consulted about the intended scheme or the views sought of the local County and Borough councillors.

Yours faithfully,
Gordon Hill
