Dear DWP, Can you tell me the number of universal credit claimants that were awarded the payment in 2023, but didn't receive it due to it
being sent to the wrong bank account.
Also the number of universal credit couple claimants that seperated during the assessment period of
18/8/2023 - 17/9/2023.”

DWP sent the col on the 3rd November to my old account (ex partner) which I had changed via the UC journal on 30th Aug. First they said I didn't qualify then that I did but they'd sent it to the account listed with claim at the start of August. No apology no refund and no recourse. Can't find any answers to the correct procedure to remedy the situation as they believe they did nothing wrong and with 8500 claimant's possibly in the same predicament is a disgrace. £300 lost with only weeks until Xmas and an unhappy 9 year old - highly stressful.
