Dear Lawrence Sheriff School,
I have read on Internet the distrubing story how school withdrew a place in 2013 which was found unlawful, refused appeal, refused to consider a new application etc.
Please declare the total amout of money the School/Governing Body spent on legal costs on this issue with this application which includes Local Government Ombudsman costs.
Also break down, if possible the fees e.g. solicitors, barristers and others (list if possible).
Of this total what was the total cost of holding a appeal for this application including the postponed ones - including legal costs.
I am sure your accounts have invoices for costs. I can add together if it is hard for you to do so, if you provide all figures, else you can kindly do so.
Dear Mr Rusailh

Dear Lorraine Batchelor,
I do not accept your claim.
The school is supposed to keep records of all transactions and invoices for a minimum of 6 years.
The school must have received itemised invoices from the local authority for 2013-14
The school must have had the data. Why has the school not got this data?
Has the school destroyed its invoices from the Council?
I now understand that the the local authority obtained Counsel advice and must have invoiced the school in July 2013.
Do the figures you quoted for 2014 comprise of legal fees to deny entry to this one child alone?
I am this asking for you to reconsider, else I seek an internal review and will intend take this to the Information Commissioner.
For the sake of clarity I want to know much money the school spent on legal fees to attempt to deny entry to the school of one single Asian child, in question. From my research, an Asian child who scored 8 level 9s at GCSE was unlawfully denied entry. He must have been a model student.
It is clearly reasonable and in the public interest to know how much the school spent, of its valuable funds to deny an innocent Asian child entry to the school, of which the entire governing body was white and the council had made it clear there were no grounds to withdraw the place and Dr Peter Kent, and Ofsted inspector knew this.
