Cost of housing young offenders on remand

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Stockton on Tees Council should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am making a request under the Freedom of Information Act.

1.) How much did the council spend on accommodating young offenders (aged 10-17) on remand awaiting their court date in the last year, August 2018 - August 2019? And how many nights did that buy?

2.) How much did the council spend on accommodating young offenders (aged 10-17) on remand awaiting their court date in the year August 2017 - August 2018? And how many nights did that buy?

3.) How much did the council spend on accommodating young offenders (aged 10-17) on remand awaiting their court date in the year August 2013 - August 2014? And how many nights did that buy?

4.) How many young offenders were placed in council accommodation whilst on remand in the year August 2018 - August 2019?

5.) How many young offenders were placed in council accommodation whilst on remand in the year August 2017 - August 2018?

6.) How many young offenders were placed in council accommodation whilst on remand in the year August 2013 - August 2014?

7.) In the last 5 years, what is the most the council spent accommodating a young offender on remand for one night? And what was the date?

8.) In the last 5 years, what is the least the council spent accommodating a young offender on remand for one night? And what was the date?
