I should be grateful if you answer the following questions relating
to academic year 2014/15:

1 How many pupils are educated in independent special schools who
are funded by the local authority?
2 What is the annual total cost of placements (from the education
budget) in independent special schools?
3 What is the cost of travel associated with these placements?
