Cost of failed Free School/UTC/Studio Schools applications in WS

West Sussex County Council did not have the information requested.

Dear West Sussex County Council,

I am writing in response to the recent BBC News article (April 16, 2017), citing a National loss of some £140m on Free School, university technical colleges (UTC) and studio schools in failed applications/bids (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/education-3960....

I am writing to ask specifically how much money has been lost in failed application processes/bids for Free School, university technical colleges (UTC) and studio schools in West Sussex from 2011, including those set up via a Local Authority competition from 2015.

Yours faithfully,
Vicki Wells
